An Afternoon of Classical Music at All Saints' Church — 27th June
BOOK NOW
This June, the ancient walls of All Saints' Church play host to something rather special. The Churches Conservation Trust presents an afternoon of live classical music in one of Warwickshire's most historically evocative settings — just a short walk from Billesley Manor Hotel.
All Saints' is no ordinary venue. Dating back to the 11th century and situated within the grounds of the Manor, the church carries one of Shakespeare Country's most enduring legends: that William Shakespeare himself married Anne Hathaway here in 1582. His granddaughter, Elizabeth Nash, was certainly wed here in 1646. It is a place where history feels close, and the intimacy of a live classical concert only adds to that atmosphere.
Doors open at 3.15pm, with the concert running from 3.30pm to 5.30pm. Every ticket includes a complimentary Billesley Manor Cocktail or Mocktail, served in the interval — a touch of luxury to accompany a truly memorable afternoon.
Tickets are priced at £12 for adults and £10 for under 18s, and are available to book via the Churches Conservation Trust website above.
A practical note: All Saints' is an unheated church, so a light layer is worth considering if the Warwickshire weather has other ideas. Parking is available at Billesley Manor Hotel, with a gentle walk across to the church. A drop-off point at the church gate and a short level route inside are available for those with mobility requirements.
A summer afternoon of beautiful music, centuries of history, and a cocktail in good company. We hope to see you there.
